Hard Capacity Deadline — Confirmed Before Parliament

The George Town Landfill has approximately five years of usable capacity remaining.

Ministers Ebanks-Wilks and Turner have confirmed ~780,000 cubic yards remain at ~13,000 cubic yards per month intake. The ReGen (Dart consortium) replacement project was terminated July 2024. No alternative procurement is active. A Community Feasibility Study authorized by Q1 2027 keeps Phase Initial COD at Q3 2028 — three years ahead of the ~2031 limit.

Three Deployment Modes

The Cayman Islands engagement includes three deployment modes not present in a standard ACM engagement. Each is addressed within the six documents below.

Exogenesis Protocol
Legacy Landfill Mining
The George Town Landfill mound (~40 acres, ~90 ft elevation, in use since mid-1960s) is a confirmed Exogenesis candidate. Urban and landfill mining converts accumulated historical material into manufacturing feedstock while eliminating leachate risk to North Sound marine ecosystems. Active Phase Expanded+.
Marine Feedstock
Cruise Ship & Port Origin
~1.75 million cruise passengers annually via the Port Authority of the Cayman Islands (PACI) generate a distinct marine feedstock stream. MARPOL Annex V creates a regulatory driver for on-island compliant destination. PACI is a Phase Medium Circular Offtake Agreement counterparty.
Regenesis Nodes
1–5 TPD Resort Point-Source
Modular 1–5 TPD ACM units for on-site or campus-level deployment at resort and hospitality properties. Seven Mile Beach corridor and Cayman Kai are candidate zones. Each Regenesis Node operates under a direct Circular Offtake Agreement with the property operator, independent of the central COA.
